Tired of the rattling noise of this lid.

Try our canister seal.

It will reduce the rattle.

Please measure your lid and see if the following above dimensions associated with each jar is accurate.

Seals are made to order and ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

SO PLEASE WHATEVER GLASS JAR YOU HAVE START WITH MEASURING THE OUTSIDE DIAMETER.

The outside diameter measures across the entire lid. Take your lid and turn it upside down and place on the table. Measure from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock across the entire lid.

NOW THE HARDER MEASUREMENT IS THE INSIDE DIAMETER. YOU CAN TRY 2 DIFFERENT METHODS.

1. There is part of the lid that fits into the jar. You will need to measure again from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock from the outer edges of the lip that goes into the jar.

2. Or take a piece of string and measure the circumference around the lip that goes into the jar. Divide by 3.14 and this will give you the inside diameter.

The more important measurement is the inside diameter. Let's say you measured you're outside diameter to be 7" and your inside to be 5 1/2". Do not buy the 5 3/4" x 7". This will be too big. It will simply fall off. You would need to buy the 5" x 7". THIS IS ONLY AN EXAMPLE. You should be able to determine which is the appropriate seal to order. Your measurements will not be as far off as my example.

Currently I do not have anything for the lid that measures almost 9" across. I may eventually make them as soon as I can determine how many variations there are.

The seals needs to fit snug around the lip. Since glass tolerances vary as does the rubber seal, you will not get a perfect fit. Some say that the seal may still be a little tight and curl, some say it's still too loose and falls off when you remove the lid. Seals are different sizes. They are not interchangeable.

No two lids are alike. There is variance to every one.

It will stop the rattling of glass on glass. Depending on the variance of the lid it may create enough suction to keep your items fresh. It is not guaranteed but you now have an option.
